Whether you’re a newly certified professional or bring years of experience, you’ll find a rewarding assignment beginning in the upcoming 25/26 school year.

Qualifications:

  • Texas Standard Educator Certificate with a Music EC-12 specialization
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Certification as a Music Therapist, with school-based experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized music therapy programs tailored to student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct music therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEP or 504 goals
  • Assess student needs, design clear objectives, and document measurable outcomes
  • Cooperate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and emotional development
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and expression through music
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports for each assigned student
