Licensed Music Therapist | Richmond, Texas

This contract role is ideal for a certified Music Therapist who enjoys making a difference by working with a small, engaged caseload of young students. The assignment runs from July 29, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and involves working one day each week. You’ll collaborate within a supportive educational environment focused on holistic student growth.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active national certification as a Music Therapist
• Experience providing music therapy in school settings or with children
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to complete district credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting and drug screening
• Organized, reliable, and able to work independently with a small caseload

Role Highlights:

• Deliver music therapy services to approximately 7 students, with sessions scheduled every other week—typically 3 to 4 students per day
• Develop individualized music therapy plans based on student needs and goals
• Track student progress and share updates with the school team
• Work alongside educators and support staff to maximize each child’s learning, participation, and well-being
• Flexibility to work across more than one campus (number of schools assigned to be determined)
