Key Qualifications:

• Active National Certification as a Music Therapist
• School-based or pediatric experience highly valued
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Comfortable working with elementary to middle school aged children
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
• Successful completion of background check (including district fingerprints) and drug screening

Role Highlights:

• Provide music therapy services to approximately 7 students, organized into small groups of 3-4 per visit
• Sessions scheduled every other week with individualized and group interventions, tailored to each child’s therapeutic goals
• Collaborate with educators and families, contributing to IEP meetings and progress reports
• Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to confidentiality guidelines
• Adapt activities and modalities to meet diverse student needs and abilities
