Licensed Music Therapist | Rosenberg, Texas

This contract opportunity is available for the 2026–2027 academic year, starting on August 11, 2026 and ending May 26, 2027, with full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time (20+ hours/week) options. Flexible scheduling is available to help you balance professional and personal commitments. As a member of a supportive interdisciplinary team, you’ll play a key role in supporting students across a spectrum of abilities and age groups.

What We’re Seeking:

• National certification in music therapy required
• Knowledge of assessment protocols and music therapy intervention strategies
• Demonstrated ability to design and document services in alignment with IEPs
• Experience with students who have autism or developmental disabilities highly valued
• Ability to develop, construct, or alter adaptive equipment and materials as needed
• Superior organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• District requires completed fingerprinting (or current prints on file)
• Flexibility to travel between campuses as assigned (no equipment provided)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group music therapy on-site; actively evaluate student progress
• Develop student-specific schedules to ensure compliance with IEP and campus goals
• Assess student eligibility for services and contribute to meaningful IEP objectives
• Participate in ARD/IEP team meetings and help interpret assessment data for educational decisions
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to enhance student outcomes
• Design staff development sessions and participate in ongoing professional growth
• Establish a positive, supportive environment tailored to student needs
• Maintain and organize required records, reports, and documentation
• Uphold all district and campus policies and procedures
