Music Therapist in Spring, TX

In this role, you will provide music therapy services to a small caseload of students, helping them reach their fullest potential through customized interventions. You'll interact with students every other week in sessions that foster creativity, social-emotional growth, and motivation. With scheduling at just one day per week, you’ll have the flexibility to maintain a work-life balance while making a real difference.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active National Certification in Music Therapy (required)
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Ability to pass a district fingerprint background check and drug screening
• Comfort working independently and collaboratively with school staff
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic services to approximately 3-4 children per day, alternating weeks, for a total caseload of 7
• Develop and implement individualized music therapy plans to address students’ emotional, cognitive, and social needs
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation for each student
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to support goals and outcomes
• Adhere to district policies and credentialing requirements
