Required Skills and Credentials:

• Active National Certification in Music Therapy
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably within a school setting
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers
• Ability to pass fingerprint-based background checks and a drug screening as per district requirements

Role Details and Responsibilities:

• Serve a small caseload of 7 students (ages vary), seeing about 3-4 per day on a rotational, every-other-week basis
• Develop and implement individualized music therapy plans tailored to each student’s developmental and therapeutic goals
• Document progress, prepare brief reports, and participate in any required meetings or consultations with the school team
• Adapt musical activities to suit different developmental levels and address social, emotional, and academic challenges
• Maintain compliance with district and professional documentation standards
