Music Therapist in Spring, TX

Bring your passion for music therapy to a supportive educational environment near Spring, TX! We’re seeking a dedicated Music Therapist to provide meaningful services on a one-day-per-week contract during the 2026-2027 school year, from July 29, 2026, to May 27, 2027.

You’ll work with a small, manageable caseload—7 students in total, typically seeing 3-4 children each service day, every other week. Age groups may vary, allowing you to showcase your creativity and adaptability as you promote growth, emotional well-being, and self-expression through music.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active National Certification as a Music Therapist required
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings preferred
• Ability to pass district background check and drug screen (fingerprinting required)
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Resourceful, compassionate, and team-oriented

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and small group music therapy sessions that address IEP goals and student needs
• Document progress and maintain confidential records
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and caregivers to optimize outcomes
• Adapt interventions for diverse abilities, ensuring an inclusive approach
• Travel to assigned schools within the district as needed (number of campuses TBD)
