Licensed Music Therapist - Spring, Texas

Key Qualifications:

• National Certification as a Music Therapist (active and in good standing)
• Previous experience providing music therapy in school or pediatric environments preferred
• Ability to work effectively with children in small group and individual settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both staff and families
• Willingness to complete required background and fingerprint checks as well as a drug screening

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging music therapy interventions tailored to each student’s needs, with a focus on ages served by the school district
• Provide support to approximately seven children, typically working with 3-4 students per scheduled day
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and maintain documentation in compliance with district guidelines
• Collaborate with educators, specialists, and family members to maximize student outcomes and promote a collaborative, inclusive environment
• Keep accurate records and participate in team meetings as needed
