Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ abilities and design personalized orientation and mobility programs
• Instruct students in the use of mobility aids, techniques for safe travel, and spatial concepts
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to integrate O&M instruction into educational plans
• Advocate for student needs and ensure the accessibility of campus facilities and programs
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress and attend IEP/504 meetings as needed
• Provide professional guidance and training to school staff on best practices in orientation and mobility
