Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct orientation and mobility training and assessments for students with visual impairments
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to tailor instructional strategies
- Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs) with clear, attainable goals
- Monitor and report on student progress, adapting approaches as needed
- Facilitate safe travel and navigation techniques both on campus and in the community, ensuring student safety at all times
