Soliant is seeking qualified educators for a school-based Orientation & Mobility (O&M) Specialist and Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) opportunity in Hartwell, Georgia for the 2026–2027 school year. The district is open to hiring one provider to cover both areas or two separate specialists depending on candidate qualifications and availability.
This is a great part-time opportunity to support a small K–12 caseload within a supportive district environment.
Position Details:
2026–2027 school year
Start Date: August 3, 2026
End Date: May 28, 2027
Opportunity for:
Combined O&M/TVI provider
OR two separate providers
Up to 8 hours per month for each service area
Combined role may serve up to 16 hours per month
Small caseload of approximately 4–6 students
Students range from Grades K–12
School-based setting in Hartwell, GA
Qualifications:
Active certification in Orientation & Mobility and/or Vision Impairment required
Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to support students with varying visual needs across grade levels
