Key Qualifications:

• Active Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) license required
• Experience working with K-12 caseloads in educational settings

• Comfort and reliability traveling between multiple school sites
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to diverse student needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct orientation and mobility assessments for students with visual impairments
• Develop and implement individualized plans to promote safe, independent movement
• Teach students techniques to navigate school campuses and community environments
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
• Maintain accurate progress records and documentation as required
• Serve as a resource for staff professional development when needed
