Key Qualifications:

  • Previous school-based OMS experience is highly valued

  • Capacity to develop and adapt individualized instruction plans based on student needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ mobility needs and readiness
  • Design and deliver individualized orientation and mobility instruction
  • Teach students to navigate a variety of environments safely, using low vision aids and assistive technology where appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and related service providers to support student goals
  • Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Offer professional guidance on accessibility and mobility-related modifications within the school community
