Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued

• Ability to adapt therapy plans to the diverse needs of students
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting children with varying abilities
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver targeted therapy sessions to address fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to monitor progress and update goals
• Maintain accurate student documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a collaborative learning environment
• Provide consultative support and recommendations to staff and families
