Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and current Occupational Therapist license in the state
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and documentation
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and school teams
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse developmental and educational needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students identified with disabilities or those requiring extra support
- Develop customized treatment plans focused on improving students’ fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with developing student goals and progress reports
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and re-evaluations as necessary
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Partner with educators and families to recommend classroom modifications and home strategies to facilitate student progress
