This opportunity offers the chance to deliver essential therapy services in a school-based environment near Acworth, GA, working collaboratively with educators and families to enhance students’ academic success and daily functioning.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs within an educational setting
- Creative problem-solving approach to address varying student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop targeted intervention plans to help students achieve educational goals
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Support and guide classroom staff in adapting activities and environments to maximize inclusion and participation
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent consultations, and multidisciplinary collaboration
