What we’re looking for:

  • Active Michigan Occupational Therapy license (must provide documentation)
  • Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEPs, goal-setting, and student evaluations
  • Exceptional communication skills for working closely with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt and manage your caseload independently

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services for students according to their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to evaluations to support educational planning
  • Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized therapy goals
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and support personnel
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district requirements

As a contract Occupational Therapist in this maternity leave position, you’ll work up to 40 hours per week, allowing you to gain valuable experience, develop your skills, and make a positive impact in the school community.
