Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active OT license for school-based practice

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, focusing on academic access, functional skills, and independence
  • Conduct evaluations to identify student needs and develop tailored intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support for students
  • Maintain clear documentation, progress reports, and uphold compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise for student planning
  • Offer training and resources to staff and families to reinforce skills outside of therapy sessions
