School Occupational Therapist | Albuquerque, New Mexico

This dynamic role is based onsite near Albuquerque, NM and spans from November 1st to May 27th, 2027. You'll collaborate across multiple school locations, stepping in to support various caseloads as OTs transition in and out of leave—perfect for professionals who thrive in a flexible and ever-changing environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapy license required
• Prior experience in school settings preferred, but open to OTs passionate about pediatric and adolescent populations
• Comfortable managing caseloads with a wide variety of disabilities
• Adaptable to changing assignments and working across multiple campuses
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with students, educators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students ages 3 to 22, tailored to each individual’s needs
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with educational guidelines
• Support transitions as different OTs return from leave, seamlessly moving between school sites and caseloads
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Provide recommendations for classroom modifications, assistive technology, and adaptive equipment as needed
• Serve as a resource for staff and families, helping to promote student independence and participation
