Licensed Middle School School Occupational Therapist - Alexander, Arkansas

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapy license and certification required
• Experience in school-based OT strongly preferred
• Familiarity with working with elementary, middle, and high school students
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Skilled in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
• Develop evidence-based, individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide direct therapy services within classroom and pull-out settings across grade levels
• Document progress and maintain clear, timely records in accordance with school and district guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to promote inclusive participation in school activities
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, goal setting, and progress reviews
