Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous school-based experience or passion for working with pediatric populations
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with school teams, families, and caregivers
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans
• Adaptability and organization in a dynamic educational setting

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine student needs
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with each student’s goals
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams on strategies and accommodations
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights on students’ functional abilities
• Stay current on best practices and relevant regulations in school-based therapy
