Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain) for the state
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families
• Ability to assess and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
• Collaborative spirit for working with educators, administrators, and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for students to identify areas of occupational need
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy interventions within the educational framework
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure continuity of care and progress
• Document progress, update goals, and maintain compliance with required reporting standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute occupational therapy insights to support students’ educational plans
• Promote student independence, self-care, and participation in school activities
