As an Occupational Therapist in a school setting, you’ll work a consistent school-day schedule, collaborating with educators and support staff to deliver essential therapy services to students with diverse needs. This role offers immediate start and runs through mid-June 2027, following the assigned academic calendar.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and current Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license (required)
- Valid Educational Specialist I or II Certificate (required)
- School-based, pediatric, or special education experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to support students with a broad range of disabilities and developmental needs
- Availability for a full-time school schedule (up to 35 hours weekly)
- Willingness to work in either Carbon or Lehigh County, based on assignment
- Must attend an in-person interview prior to placement
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to progress reports
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as required
- Adapt strategies to suit student-specific needs, providing compassionate, collaborative support
