This position runs from September 1st through June 15th, offering approximately 30 hours per week across four days, with a consistent 7:30am-3:30pm schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services for students in grades K-12 according to IEP plans.
- Evaluate students' needs, develop personalized intervention plans, and regularly monitor progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into students’ daily routines.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all documentation requirements and deadlines.
- Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive techniques for academic success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of New Hampshire.
- School-based OT experience strongly preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families.
- Familiarity with IEP process and relevant school documentation.
