This opportunity offers consistent hours with a set schedule across four days per week, located near Amherst, NH. From September 1st through June 15th, you'll collaborate with educators and families to help students succeed both academically and functionally.
Bring your knowledge and enthusiasm to a collaborative school setting as you evaluate, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to a diverse student population. Your expertise will foster independence, participation, and skill development for learners ranging from kindergarten through high school.
What We're Looking For:
- Completed Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active New Hampshire state OT license (or eligibility)
- Previous experience with school-aged children preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Commitment to supporting students with varying abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services within the school environment
- Develop and implement student-specific intervention plans
- Work cooperatively with IEP teams, classroom staff, and families
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records
- Contribute to student evaluations and participate in planning meetings
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
