Occupational Therapist School Setting in Anacortes, WA

What we’re seeking:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in a school-based setting (preferred)
• Strong understanding of pediatric assessment and intervention
• Confidence designing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, and families
• Dedication to fostering student growth, participation, and independence

Your role will include:

• Providing direct therapy services to students with diverse needs, PK-12
• Conducting evaluations and assessments to develop and update IEP goals
• Collaborating with educational teams to adapt classroom activities for greater accessibility
• Supporting teachers with strategies and accommodations for student success
• Documenting therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes consistently
• Participating in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
• Promoting inclusive learning environments where every child can thrive
