What we’re seeking:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a school-based setting (preferred)
- Strong understanding of pediatric assessment and intervention
- Confidence designing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, and families
- Dedication to fostering student growth, participation, and independence
Your role will include:
- Providing direct therapy services to students with diverse needs, PK-12
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to develop and update IEP goals
- Collaborating with educational teams to adapt classroom activities for greater accessibility
- Supporting teachers with strategies and accommodations for student success
- Documenting therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes consistently
- Participating in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
- Promoting inclusive learning environments where every child can thrive
