Fine Motor Skills Occupational Therapist School Setting in Anaheim, CA

An exciting contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist seeking hands-on K-12 school experience onsite near Anaheim and Santa Ana, CA. Provide essential therapy services as you support students' growth and independence during a maternity leave coverage from September 2026 to December 2026, with the chance for an extension until April. Work with 57 students across five schools, serving a dynamic, diverse population with the added bonus of two days of COTA support weekly.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Background in school-based OT, fine motor skill development, and teletherapy
• Experience in home health or general healthcare settings a plus
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage a full caseload across multiple sites and grade levels

Your Daily Impact:

• Deliver direct OT services to students K-12, targeting functional, academic, and developmental goals
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and progress monitoring
• Consult with teachers, staff, and family members for students’ individualized support
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations
• Partner with a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for collaborative case management
