Occupational Therapist School Setting in Andover, MN

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience as a school-based OT preferred, but strong new graduates will be considered
• Ability to develop and implement IEP goals and individualized strategies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility, creativity, and compassion for supporting students with varied needs and abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ physical, developmental, or sensory needs impacting school performance
• Develop and carry out intervention plans aligned with student IEPs
• Provide direct and consultative OT services within classroom and therapy settings
• Collaborate with educators and families to integrate supports seamlessly into daily routines
• Maintain accurate documentation for evaluations, progress reports, and service delivery
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to interdisciplinary planning
