School Occupational Therapist - Andover, Minnesota

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license in Minnesota (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Prior experience delivering OT services in school settings strongly preferred
• Comfortable providing support to students across elementary and middle school age groups
• Demonstrated leadership or supervision experience, especially overseeing a COTA
• Strong collaborative skills and commitment to evidence-based practice

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations, goal-setting, and evidence-based treatment interventions for students with diverse needs
• Develop and implement IEP goals in coordination with educators, families, and related service teams
• Supervise and mentor a COTA, providing guidance on caseload management and service delivery
• Document progress, maintain compliance with school and state requirements
• Collaborate actively with special education staff and participate in team meetings as needed
• Adapt therapy approaches across various school environments to engage students at different developmental stages
