Occupational Therapist School Setting in Andover, MN

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting (preferred)
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs
• Organizational abilities and a proactive approach to case management

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
• Develop and monitor individualized intervention plans
• Provide direct and consultative therapeutic services to students
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports in compliance with school requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and recommendations
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster students’ educational success
