Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in Michigan
  • Experience, or strong interest, in working in school environments
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt evidence-based therapy techniques to diverse age groups and needs
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ functional needs within the educational setting
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in cooperation with IEP teams
  • Support students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional performance to foster participation and success in school tasks
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into students’ daily routines
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings as required
