Step into a dynamic school-based setting where your expertise in occupational therapy can make a meaningful impact on students’ lives. This contract opportunity specializes in supporting children and young adults as they develop the functional skills required for academic and personal success. You’ll work closely with a collaborative educational team, providing essential services 2 days a week for a total of 15 hours weekly, during the academic year from August 31, 2026 to June 11, 2027.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license, with school-based experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of childhood development and sensory needs
• Ability to conduct comprehensive student evaluations and develop individualized plans
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary support staff
• Creative, adaptable, and committed to helping students achieve their potential in learning environments

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess students to identify strengths and barriers impacting learning and participation
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions appropriate to each student’s needs
• Consult regularly with educators to modify classroom activities and support inclusion
• Maintain thorough documentation, including IEP participation and progress reporting
• Provide direct and indirect services as indicated, and participate in team meetings
• Educate family members and staff on strategies to encourage independence and academic growth
