Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Michigan OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP process and documentation requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12, including individualized and group support
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with educators and families to set meaningful goals and monitor progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, provide input, and contribute documentation in a timely manner
  • Deliver 1:1 intervention for students requiring intensive support
  • Adapt therapy strategies for diverse student needs, ensuring accessibility and inclusion
  • Maintain accurate records consistent with school and legal requirements
