Occupational Therapist School Setting - Anoka, MN

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience or strong interest in serving school-aged students
• Thorough understanding of assessment tools and individualized intervention strategies
• Ability to develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, support staff, and families
• Flexibility, empathy, and creative problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ fine and gross motor skills to identify areas of need
• Plan, deliver, and document therapy sessions in alignment with students’ IEPs
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support student progress and advocate for individual needs
• Provide recommendations, strategies, and adaptive equipment to enhance student participation at school
• Engage with families to support generalization of skills across school and home settings
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal standards
