Occupational Therapist School Setting in Anoka, MN

This contract opportunity provides vital occupational therapy services to students receiving Setting IV special education support during a leave of absence coverage from September 21st to January 4th. The assignment is for 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in a collaborative school environment. There is potential for extension depending on program needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license with relevant school-based OT experience
• Experience supporting students in special education settings, preferably Setting IV
• Ability to complete agency onboarding and pass a district background check
• Reliable transportation for daily commute
• Previous placements must be in good standing, if already credentialed
• Flexible to work within the school schedule and adhere to the length of assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and documentation for students in need of specialized services
• Collaborate closely with special education staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
• Develop and implement individualized support plans fitting the unique needs of each student
• Communicate regularly with caregivers and staff to provide updates and recommendations
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with school and agency protocols
