Occupational Therapist School Setting in Anoka, MN

Exciting contract opportunities are available for experienced school-based Occupational Therapists to support students near Anoka, MN. These roles offer a chance to make a real difference for young people with special education needs in a welcoming and collaborative school environment. There are currently four positions, with a focus on Setting IV special education services. Please specify the position to which you are applying, with priority given to positions 1-3.

Openings:

• Position 1: Leave of Absence, August 31 – approximately November 13, at North Education Center, 32 hours per week (.8 FTE), 4 days a week. Serve students in Setting IV placements.
• Position 2: Leave of Absence, September 21 – January 4 (no work during winter break), at South Education Center, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week. Support Setting IV students.
• Position 3: Full year, split between locations, 20 hours per week. Work with special education students, including those in varied settings and Setting IV at Ann Bremner Education Center.
• Position 4: Pending full-time opening, details to be finalized.

Qualifications:

• Previous school-based Occupational Therapy experience required
• Ability to complete agency onboarding and district background check
• Must have reliable transportation to commute between sites as needed
• Good standing from previous placements, if already credentialed
• Able to work the specified school schedules and assignment lengths

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in special education, with a focus on Setting IV support
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Document services and progress notes per school guidelines
• Adapt to different school sites and students’ needs
