Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state or eligibility to obtain
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to develop creative strategies for student success
• Passion for working with children and supporting their unique needs
• Aptitude for collaborating with teachers, families, and other allied professionals

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ fine and gross motor skills to determine their needs within the educational environment
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in IEPs/504 plans
• Collaborate with classroom staff and special education teams to integrate OT interventions
• Track progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state standards
• Participate in evaluations, team meetings, and parent communications
