Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California OT license required
- Prior experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school-based environment preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP development and documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to connect with students, faculty, and parents
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice
- Ability to manage a full caseload and adapt therapy plans to diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and classroom participation
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans and treatment goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing assessments and reports
- Track and document student outcomes while adhering to all compliance requirements
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging therapy environment
