Bring your skills in school-based OT, home health, and healthcare-focused occupational therapy to a dynamic setting for the 2026/2027 school year. You’ll work closely with a diverse caseload, providing assessments, therapeutic interventions, and consultative services. Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure (or eligibility) within Illinois
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school or home health environment
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with special education laws
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for students aged 5–10
- Deliver occupational therapy sessions in school environments, with potential for home visits as needed
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop meaningful interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing actionable recommendations and progress updates
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district regulations
