You’ll work closely with a diverse caseload, providing assessments, therapeutic interventions, and consultative services. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT licensure (or eligibility) within Illinois
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school or home health environment
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with special education laws
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for students aged 5–10
  • Deliver occupational therapy sessions in school environments, with potential for home visits as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop meaningful interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing actionable recommendations and progress updates
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district regulations
