Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state
- Previous experience in schools, home health, or pediatric healthcare preferred
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse learning environments
- Skilled in evaluating and documenting student progress
- Collaborative and supportive approach to teaming
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify strengths and areas of need in fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Work directly with students through one-on-one and small group interventions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers and families
- Consult with teachers to adapt classroom environments and activities
- Maintain detailed documentation of services, progress, and outcomes
- Contribute to IEP meetings and progress reports as required
