Who We’re Looking For:

• Active North Carolina OT license (NCBOT) and post-grad OT degree (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of one year post-fieldwork 2, professional school-based occupational therapy experience (fieldwork or graduate placements not considered).
• NC school experience highly preferred.
• Expertise in ECATS and IEPs required.
• Proficient in conducting motor screenings, functional OT evaluations, and using standardized school-based OT assessments.
• Experience with Sensory Processing Measure–2 (SPM-2) and Sensory Profile 2 a must.
• Knowledge of applying and interpreting assessment results in the educational context.
• Able to obtain NPI number and register with NC Tracks (must be completed prior to start date).
• Obtain DCDEE fingerprinting and pass district background check.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in multiple schools within the district, supporting their access to educational programs.
• Perform individualized evaluations, develop intervention plans, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement strategies tailored to student needs.
• Participate in workload reviews and adapt service delivery as needed to maintain optimal caseload balance.
