Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant credentials
- Demonstrated experience in school settings, home health, and teletherapy
- Deep understanding of gross motor skill development and best practices for pediatric populations
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans that address IEP goals and student needs
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and other service providers
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and interpret evaluation data to develop targeted interventions in the school, home, or teletherapy setting
- Deliver evidenced-based OT services designed to enhance student participation and independence
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes, treatment records, and IEP reports
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive support plans
- Adapt strategies and interventions based on student progress and evolving needs
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required by the district
