This role focuses on early intervention with preschool-aged children, providing critical services as part of a dedicated team. Qualifications:

  • Active Louisiana OT or COTA license required
  • Previous experience working with children ages 3-4, preferably in school or early intervention settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work onsite and travel locally across the region, with supervision support offered to COTAs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to preschool-aged students as part of the Early Interventionist Team
  • Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions to meet students’ developmental needs and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to foster student growth
  • Accurately document interventions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and professional standards
  • Work onsite in various locations: 2 days serving schools in the northern part of the area and 2 days in the southern part
  • Participate in relevant meetings, training, and supervision sessions (if applicable)

Role Details:

  • Contract position for the 2026-2027 school year (August to May)
  • Part-time: approximately 4 hours a day, 4 days per week
  • Onsite service delivery model
