Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana OT or COTA license required
- Previous experience working with children ages 3-4, preferably in school or early intervention settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite and travel locally across the region, with supervision support offered to COTAs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to preschool-aged students as part of the Early Interventionist Team
- Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions to meet students’ developmental needs and IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to foster student growth
- Accurately document interventions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and professional standards
- Work onsite in various locations: 2 days serving schools in the northern part of the area and 2 days in the southern part
- Participate in relevant meetings, training, and supervision sessions (if applicable)
Role Details:
- Contract position for the 2026-2027 school year (August to May)
- Part-time: approximately 4 hours a day, 4 days per week
