School Occupational Therapist - Arcadia, Louisiana

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity delivering Occupational Therapy services in a dynamic and collaborative school environment. Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Louisiana is required
• Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience is preferred
• Comfortable managing a varied caseload across elementary and high school levels
• Willingness and ability to supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct OT services to students across four school campuses, fostering student development and access to curriculum
• Complete evaluations, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation as required by school policies
• Support PreK evaluations on Fridays, ensuring early intervention for students
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate student progress and goal achievement
• Supervise a COTA, offering guidance, oversight, and mentorship as needed
• Work a flexible part-time schedule, primarily Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, averaging 20-25 hours per week
