You’ll enhance your expertise by working with educators and students across different grade levels, gain insight into best practices in teletherapy, and sharpen your leadership skills through COTA supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Active occupational therapy license for Louisiana
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong teletherapy/virtual care skills
  • Ability to evaluate across multiple grade levels and perform PreK weekly assessments
  • Capability to supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide re-evaluations across all grade levels in a school setting
  • Conduct PreK occupational therapy evaluations on Fridays
  • Dedicate at least one day each week to Individualized Education Program (IEP) completion
  • Supervise a COTA throughout the assignment and afterward, as needed
