Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active and valid California Occupational Therapy license
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric clinic preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate, plan, and implement individualized OT programs
  • Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication skills with students, families, and staff
  • Willingness to fulfill a 6-12 month contract commitment
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to support students’ functional performance in the classroom
  • Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide ongoing support
  • Maintain required records and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Advocate for student needs and promote inclusion within the school setting
