What we’re looking for:
- Current Occupational Therapist license and credentials for school settings
- Prior experience in elementary and/or middle school environments
- Strong understanding of assessments, IEP processes, and school therapy documentation
- Effective collaboration skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse student needs in resource and self-contained classrooms
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with student IEPs and school goals
- Conduct assessments and use provided testing materials to guide intervention
- Document progress and communicate effectively with team members and families
- Participate in monthly meetings, roundtables, and regular 1:1 check-ins with leadership
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance service delivery
- Engage in orientation programs, including a “Buddy Program” designed to ease your transition
- Collaborate via a regional intranet platform for real-time support and idea exchange
