Key Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience in school-based OT settings
  • Familiarity with home health OT and teletherapy preferred
  • Competency in conducting student evaluations (Evals)
  • Ability to provide effective supervision to COTAs (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough OT evaluations for students, tailoring intervention plans to individual needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to support student progress
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to COTAs, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Deliver therapy using a variety of settings, including in-person at schools, home health, and teletherapy as needed
  • Maintain precise documentation of student progress and communicate findings with parents and staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
