Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Illinois
- Previous experience in schools, home health, healthcare, and/or teletherapy settings preferred
- Ability to supervise and support COTAs effectively
- Strong evaluation and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive therapy experiences
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students and home health clients according to individualized plans
- Conduct thorough evaluations and documentation
- Supervise COTAs, providing guidance and feedback to ensure compliance with best practices
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers
- Utilize teletherapy platforms for remote support when needed
- Adapt techniques and interventions to meet individuals’ unique needs and goals
