Qualifications & Skills:

• Current licensure to practice as an OT
• Experience working in schools, home health, healthcare, and/or teletherapy environments
• Ability to create individualized treatment plans and adapt strategies to meet each student’s needs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Compassionate, collaborative, and flexible approach
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities, including fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
• Develop, implement, and monitor therapy plans in partnership with educators and families
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in schools, students’ homes, or virtually as needed
• Document progress and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
• Advocate for students’ access to resources and modifications for optimal educational participation
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
