Qualifications/Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure to practice Occupational Therapy
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred but not required
  • Strong skills in evaluation, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in alignment with students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress and generalization of skills
  • Document evaluations, treatment notes, and ongoing progress in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Provide consultation and training to staff and parents to facilitate student success across school settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise toward goal development and achievement
  • Utilize adaptive equipment and technology as needed to promote student engagement
