Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving elementary and middle school students as you support occupational therapy needs in a vibrant, collaborative setting. You'll provide FMLA coverage within an engaging educational environment, working onsite with access to supportive leadership and meaningful resources. The contract begins with orientation on August 3 and 4, 2026, with students arriving on August 7, and concludes October 15, 2026. This is a full-time position, offering 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Valid OT license in the state
  • Previous experience in school settings, particularly with elementary and middle school populations
  • Familiarity with providing services in both resource and self-contained environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to collaborative, student-centered therapy
  • Ability to effectively utilize assessment and intervention materials

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite OT services, developing and implementing individualized treatment sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals to ensure students’ needs are met
  • Attend monthly meetings and roundtable discussions, contributing to collective knowledge and student success
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and annual performance reviews
  • Utilize collaboration tools to connect with colleagues across the region
  • Engage actively in ongoing professional development and orientation, enhanced by a supportive "Buddy Program"
  • Maintain timely and clear documentation to track goals and progress
