Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive OT evaluations

  • Understanding of IEP processes and legal requirements for evaluations
  • Ability to organize documentation and maintain accurate records

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-person, onsite OT assessments as requested by parents and school staff

  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to gather classroom performance data
  • Engage with families to understand student needs and provide relevant feedback
  • Develop thorough evaluation reports that align with IEP and school district guidelines
  • Present assessment results and recommendations at IEP or eligibility meetings
  • Follow up as needed to contribute to intervention plans or direct student supports
