School Occupational Therapist - Arlington, Texas

Make a meaningful impact by providing essential occupational therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels. As a contracted, onsite Occupational Therapist, you'll work with a diverse caseload of 45–60 students, tailoring interventions to help each child access their educational environment with greater ease and independence.

This opportunity spans the remainder of the school year through early summer of 2027, offering a steady, full-time schedule from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) through the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
• Previous experience supporting students in a school-based setting is highly desired
• Proficiency in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized therapy for K-12 students
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong documentation and organizational abilities
• Adaptable and flexible approach to varied student needs and grade levels

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to a caseload of up to 60 students, ensuring each receives appropriate interventions according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other school specialists to create supportive learning environments
• Conduct ongoing evaluations and prepare timely progress reports
• Develop home programs or classroom modifications to generalize student skills
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student supports
