Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or ability to obtain before starting)
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of IEP processes and related documentation is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skill needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to support student progress
- Document services provided and student progress in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
- Offer consultation and in-class support to educators as needed
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards in occupational therapy practice
